Her blog includes Jillian and Brittan's celebration slideshow that she generously made, and a link to cousin Heidi's video of Brad and his brothers dancing to the 500 mile song (I wanna be). It is a tradition in the Roth family, and everyone joins in after a short time. Fun stuff!

Jillian and Brit's wedding

The wedding went beautifully. The day was about 80 degrees, clear and sunny. The bride was beautiful and everyone was happy. Most of the pictures I took inside didn't turn out very well, as the lighting is not very good in church, so I hope other people or the professional photographer got some good shots. Here are a few pictures...

Wedding rehearsal and reception hall set-up

A fun rehearsal, everyone was so excited. John couldn't fly in until late in the evening, so we missed him.
We had a great time-and the dinner afterwards, catered by The Lunch Box, was delicious (thanks Jerry and Vicki)! The reception hall looked wonderful. We all worked together to set up everything, and Vicki did an awesome job on the centerpieces.

Manicures and hairdos: pre-wedding preparations

The day before the wedding, some of us got our nails done. I got a french manicure, it was so fun to be pampered.


Saturday morning we had our hair done. I love how my hair turned out-it looks like it is long! Brit's Aunt Sandi did a great job. A lot of people told me I looked pretty, but I have a question. Is it still a compliment when someone tells you that you look beautiful, then adds that they didn't recognize you? Just wondering...

Caitlin's Locks of Love haircut

Caitlin got her long hair cut off today to donate to Locks of Love, which uses the hair to make wigs for children who need them. We went to JCPenney to get it done, and the woman did a wonderful job. It was technically free, but we made a donation to Locks of Love to help defray the cost.
Okay, I know I haven't posted pictures of Jillian and Brit's wedding from last Saturday yet. It was absolutely wonderful, but there are a lot of pictures to look through. I will post them later, but I am not sure if I will have time tonight.

Spa Pedicure

Jacki, Jillian and Caitlin bought me a gift certificate for a spa pedicure last Mother's Day and I used it today. She forgot to give me the paraffin dip that went with it, so I bought the two colors of nail polish that she used instead. It was very relaxing and I think my feet look very pretty. Thanks, girls :)
Don't forget my birthday is coming up-they do massages and other spa treatments, too ;)
I am uploading this on Caitlin's computer because my computer is acting up and won't let me access the internet-what a pain.
Jacki flies in tomorrow night and we will be picking her up at the airport. Only 4 more days until Jillian and Brit's wedding!
