Thesis defense date
I had a thesis committee meeting this morning-very stressful, but it went pretty well and I was given permission to finish up and graduate. We set a date for the public oral defense of my dissertation-October 8 at 10AM. I have to get the written copy of my dissertation to my committee ten days before that date, among many other details, so I will be working very hard and will probably be pretty cranky from the stress! Please think positive thoughts for me (and for Brad and Caitlin to put up with me) in the weeks ahead!

You GO girl!! That is awesome. You've met the challenge, now you just have to reap the benefits. I won't wish you good luck cause you really don't need it. You know what you are doing and "they" know that you know what you are doing. So, it is just the final step to what you started a few years ago...enjoy!!

I'm sure all will go well with your BIG schedule the next few weeks. You've come this far without a setback and I am sure you will get through the rest of your finals in FINE STYLE. You have the determination to do it all and it won't be long until you can sit back and relax after finishing that final step, Doctor.
