I thought this was just going to be a fun, relaxing weekend visiting Jillian and Brit, but what a ride! Jillian made me a cake for my birthday Friday, and we were all going to eat chili and watch the U-M/ND football game Saturday.
Well, the birthday cake was delicious, and the game was great (for us U-M fans- we won 47-21), but the real treat came when I opened my presents. After opening a book about mothers and daughters just from Jillian, I opened a package from both Jillan and Brit, which contained...a bib. Upon turning it over to read the front, I saw "I love grandma" printed on it! Yes, they just got married Aug.5 and the baby is due May 7- exactly 9 months and 2 days later. I think the baby may need to be named Jamaica-mon. They certainly had a productive honeymoon! We are all extremely thrilled and excited!

I wish I could have been there when they broke the news to you guys, it sounds like it was so exciting!!! I can't wait to be Aunt Jacki! :) :) :)
