Thanks to everyone who voted for which BioArt picture they thought I should submit to try to win a travel grant. The Center for Organogenesis actually decided that we each could submit as many as we wanted, but only one picture could win. I am so excited to announce that I won a $500 travel grant for my submission "Reach toward the light".
This is great news, especially since I am traveling to Australia next month to attend the 5th Annual International Society for Stem Cell Research meeting, where I will be presenting a poster on my research. WooHoo!
Look for my picture at the BioArtography booth at the Art Fair this summer.

I'm jealous. You're going to autralia. That's awesome, and even better that it will be a little more affordable!
