I am leaving in a few hours for my trip "down under" to the ISSCR conference. I am looking forward to being there, but not to the long trip ahead. It takes about 24 hours of actual flight time (one leg of the trip is 15 hours!), and they are 15 hours ahead of us. I will arrive there early Friday afternoon, but it will only be about 10PM Thursday back home. Talk about jet lag! I have already applied my motion sickness patch, so I am as ready as I am going to be. Really, I have such bad motion sickness, that even the patch doesn't always work and I am really groggy and pretty much out of it while I have it on.
Here is a small picture of the poster I will be presenting. I think it turned out pretty well, the figures are vibrant and the text is easy to read. My presentation is not until the last day of the conference, so I will have a lot to do before then. Wish me luck.
